| Muggings, delays, lack of security for Septa. 6/30/03 - At about 7:45am this morning, at the Benner Street stop of the 66 bus there was a mugging today. As a woman boarded the bus, she was pushed down from behind and had her pocket book stolen. The perpetrator then ran across the street to a waiting car and sped away. The poor woman was calling for help while on the steps of the bus while all this was happening. The bus was then stopped and all passengers were told to wait for the next bus. After boarding the next bus, travel went along as normal. Mysteriously, an hour later, at the Robbins Street stop (2 stops from where the mugging occurred), I happened along another 66 bus that was making all the passengers get off the bus. I was not able to stop and find out what happened. Remember, this was reported first on SeptaSucks.com. Thanks to our readers for reporting the news as it happens.
